Dear TXSE Member,
TXSE would like to inform market participants of an upcoming change to the streamId values distributed in reference data. There will be no updates to the technical specifications as a result of this change.
Effective June 23, members should expect streamId values in the range of 11–15, replacing values 2–6 in both UAT and Production. These values will correspond sequentially to the multicast feed designations published in the TXSE Connectivity Guide:
StreamIDs are the channels TXSE uses to distribute market data. The streamId identifies which feed carries data for a particular symbol and is published in the daily reference data.
Feed identifiers are connectivity labels only. Clients should continue to obtain streamId assignments from the daily reference data and use it as the authoritative source for stream assignments.
No connectivity changes are required as a result of this update. Market participants should review any internal logic or configuration that assumes specific streamId values and ensure that daily reference data is used as the authoritative source for streamId and matchingEngineId assignments.
If you have questions or require assistance, please contact marketops@txse.com.
We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely, TXSE Market Operations
